Before the collection of ‘Tour des Voyage’ was born, this project is the first addition to Misha’s design of handpainted five different commercial routes wallcoverings, ‘The Silk Road’ is a marvellous designed exclusively for the living room of the recently renovated private residence in Milan. Working closely with the house owner, the design was inspired by his wonderful experience of travel.

The panorama takes several stops along the Silk Road, which connected the Mediterranean to China through Central Asia and the Near East. The wallpaper is artfully depicted in this outstanding silk background in a grisaille colour scene.
